Review of Room One Thirty Eight by Victoria Greyson

Wow! Ummm, wow. This was a pretty steamy read! I can't say more without giving anything away...Very quick read. Definitely worth picking up! Thank you to my Twitter follower that recommended it! :D Now... off to find my hubby. ;P

Review of The Last Bookstore In America by Amy Stewart

The Last Bookstore In America really wasn't what it seemed to be. Having said that, I wasn't real impressed. It wasn't bad. It wasn't fabulous. It wasn't...Sorry.

I don't want to give anything away. Let me just say that selling books was not what kept the bookstore solvent, maybe even lucrative (?).
Anyway, you know I don't recount the storyline, I just give my opinion. My opinion on this one, it wasn't my fave. I gave it 2 books out of 5.

Review of "The Devil's Metal" by Karina Halle

OMG!!!! I loved the EIT books by Karina Halle, so I knew I was in for something fantastic when I started "The Devil's Metal". I was sooooo not disappointed! Ms. Halle is so talented and her books grab you from the first sentence and suck your breath out of you for the entire content of the book. That's why you have to read them in one sitting, they are amazing and you don't get to relax and breathe in again until the end! Definitely, definitely, not only a must read, but a must read NOW! (I can't wait for the next 2 books... )

My Review of Dark Passage by Griffin Hayes

Ha! **** Really good read! Pretty creepy in spots. I love creepy. I have noticed the more creepy books you read it gets harder and harder to get creeped out. (Does that even make sense?) Lol Anyway, this was a great choice and it was one that was suggested by one of my Twitter followers, so awesome choice! And thank you Mr. Hayes. Really good twist at the end also! No more info. :)

Experiment In Terror Series by Karina Halle

Ok post #2 for today.
I just realized that I have read all of Karina Halle's Experiment In Terror books and I have only commented on one!!!! Can you believe it??? I know, right? As much as I <3 her books and have read them all, I HAVE ONLY COMMENTED ON ONE???? What is wrong with me? ---- Don't answer that, I am just going to claim Lupus fog, and leave it at that! :)
Seriously though, if you haven't read this series, you are truly missing out. I LOVE them and I am on pins and needles waiting for Devil's Metal to be released.

Review for Dead on Demand by Sean Campbell

Where to start?
This book was suggested to me when I asked my Twitter followers if they had any recommendations on what I should read. (Thank you very much Mr. Campbell.)
This book was apparently written in 90 days. Which to me is something akin to a miracle, I needed almost that much time in college to write one paper... (Lol - Just kidding...)
The beginning of this book was a little slow for me. It did pick up a bit as it went on. All in all, I would rate it at 3 books... Meaning I liked it.

Want a great, entertaining read?

This was a fast read, which is a bummer because I was not ready for this story to be over! I absolutely adored this book! It was fun, gripping isn't quite the right word. It does however, suck you in and keep you there until the end! It's great for all ages, there was nothing gory, just pure entertainment!
WBI: Witches Bureau of Investigation

A cold, cloudy day...

First, let me start by saying, this is one of those days where it's cold. It's cloudy. It's windy. I just wanna curl up on the couch, under a soft, warm blanket and READ. All. Day. Long. Sadly, my family likes to eat so I had to come to work. ;)
I just finished reading Blood Orchids by Toby Neal. Man, was this a great book! When you start it, ( because I have a feeling everybody will... ;) ) make sure you have plenty of time to read. You will want to sit and read it all in one shot. You will feel like Lei is one of your good friends and you will wanna hug Kiki. Cheers, Author Neal, this is a great book!

Review on The Delta Chain by Iain Henn

The Delta Chain had an interesting plot. Murdered bodies were turning up and were seemingly unidentifiable. Medical experimentation always kind of draws me in and then I have to pick it apart. It leaves me going "hmmmm... "
The story was well written and I liked it. Did I love it? No. Why? I'm not sure. I just couldn't really get close to the characters.
This review is sounding like I didn't like the story. That is not my intention, I did like. I should just shut up and leave it at that. I liked it

Review for The Crypt by Jonas Saul

Product Details

Just finished reading "The Crypt" by Jonas Saul. The story started out great! Fast-paced, action, dead sister communicating with her living sister, mysterious men following her...

I really wanted this book to be great! Sadly, it just kind of fizzled into shoot-outs, and people chasing. Overall, it was ok.

Little behind.....

I know I am a little bit behind...Well OK A LOT behind. Sorry. We have a huge project going on at work.
OK enough of that. A very close friend of mine (we've only been friends for ummmm, 37 YEARS!) recently sent me a link to a really awesome and uplifting website. It sort of parallelled the Lupus issue, but not directly. These ladies have gone through a lot also and are focusing on the positive. Which is fantastic!!!!

Isn't that great??? I hope you enjoy it!

Oh, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks was a truly amazing book! Some of it goes a little medical-
ly (not a word, but it works!) but it doesn't stay there for long. Just enough to get their point across. Read it. Truly. You won't believe the way one woman's cells have touched the ENTIRE WORLD! How awesome is that????
